Peter Bass

After two years working in fundraising for a small welfare charity, Pete resigned from his job in August 2008. Hearing that he had joined the labour market, the banks decided to collapse rather then risk giving him a job, bringing the whole economy down with them. Sorry about that.

Since then he has been employed on various freelance projects in the voluntary sector, and lives in West London Kent with his gardener cum fashion consultant and her piano.

He loves open source software, particularly Drupal because it allows him to indulge two of his great loves: messing about on the internet and taking things apart to see how they work.

He was educated at Oxford University. He read Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Keble College. Eventually after five years, they gave him a degree, on the condition that he sat finals, went away, and stopped asking difficult questions in tutorials.

His favourite biscuit is the custard cream, and he takes his tea with milk and no sugar.
